Estudiantes is a sport-for-development club based in Haringey, London.
Estudiantes was an idea before it was a club. That idea being that educational excellence and social mobility could be achieved via the medium of sport; that a committment to striving for excellence in sport could drive excellence in life.
.The bedrock of the club is education. This has seen attendance of participants at the local college with which the club has ties increased from 76 to over 94% while delivering more than 40 hours of football/futsal a month to those whose attendance to class met the threshold set by the club. Participants in the program also receive 1 to 1 English and Maths tuition to help them achieve their potential.
Thanks to those that fund us, our project is 100% FREE to take part in, and so is accessible for all regardless of their socio-economic background.
Using high-quality sports provision as a reward, we work with young people to improve their attendance and attitude to education.
Each participant in the program is provided with an opportunity to access free 1 to 1 tuition with our English and Maths teachers.
We provide our participants with the chance to take FA Qualifications including the FA Refereeing course, Level 1 in Football Coaching, Level 1 in Futsal Coaching and Level 7 in Futsal Refereeing
