ABOUT ESTUDIANTES ELITE

In December 2025, We were honoured to have an opportunity to take on Paris Saint Germain Academy at their training ground in Poissy, north of Paris. It was a unique opportunity to compete against some of the best young players in Europe. We are indebted to PSG for the incredible hospitality throughout the day. Our students performed extremely well, earning praise from the PSG Coaching team. It is a day we will never forget! Congratulations to Daimend Gebrehiwat (pictured) who captained the team. 

 In October 2025, a truly world-class opportunity was provided for our best student-athletes as we travelled to play Premier League leaders Arsenal FC u21s. Our students rose the occasion, putting in an excellent performance against fantastic opposition.

We are truly thankful to Arsenal for the opportunity. 

It was an honour to take the team to play the u23s of Club Brugge, the 2024/2025 champions of Belgium at the beautiful Schiervelde stadion. The selected players represented the club brilliantly giving their best against top quality opponents, who finished 6th in the Belgian Championship last year. Credit to the team for the outstanding performance on the day. A huge Thank you to Club Brugge for the opportunity. 

In May 2025, our elite team travelled to play Wolves u21s at the training ground of Premier League club. Our behaviour, attitude and performance was praised by staff at the Premier League club. In March 2025, we took 17 outstanding student-athletes from London to compete against two of the most historic clubs in Italy. We faced Parma, at their Centro Sportivo di Collecchio training ground. The game was one in which our students excelled.  Gelson Do Mundo (pictured) was so outstanding that he was offered a trial with Parma and returned one month later for a week of training. Thank you to all at Parma for the opportunity. 

As part of the Italy tour, we faced Sampdoria, the champions of Italy in 1990, at their  Gloriano Mugnaini training ground.
The behaviour, attitude and performance of the students was absolutely fantastic throughout the tour with every student representing the club with distinction.  Yotam Tesfameskel (pictured), who was awarded our 2025 student of the year, captained the team and put in a player-of-the-match performance. Thank you to Sampdoria for the opportunity. 

In October 2025, our Elite team put in an outstanding performance against Watford FC. We thank Academy Manager Micah Hyde for the opportunity. Our team comprised outstandijng student athletes from across London, including Diamend Gebrehiwat who has shown a fantastic attitude to both his education and sport. Daimend captain the team and put in an excellent performance. 

Thanks to the support of The Jack Petchey Foundation, we were able to take 17 outstanding student-athletes to play RC Lens in France. Lens were champions of France in 1998. The trip was organised as part of a Leaders award for Jeremy Jonata who has led the Elite team whilst he graduated from his degree at Loughborough University. Victor Odiaka (pictured) was outstanding in midfield during the game. 

As part of tour to play Holland and Belgiumn, we were honoured to have an opportunity to play 25 times Dutch Champions PSV at their De Verdgang training ground near Eindhoven. Despite losing the game 3-2 we were extremely proud of our performance, that was praised by the PSV Coaching team. Sairel Amali (pictured) was one of our star performers in the game.

As part of our tour to Belgium and Holland, we were honoured to take on Standard Liege, one of the very biggest clubs in Belgium. 20 outstanding student athletes from North London were rewarded for a great attitude to their education in the last 5 years. The students were absolutely outstanding in the game with Lamine Gomes (pictured) captaining the team.

In our first Elite team game, we were honoured to take on Sheffield Wednesday. Our team comprised outstanding students who had represented the club over the previous 2 years  including Lamine Seide (pictured), who captained the side. Our team played extremely well on the day, winning the game 3-0. We are thankful to Sheffield Wednesday for giving us the opportunity.
